Simple rules to follow while filing a car insurance claim

With the number of vehicles clogging the roads have to be mentally prepared to file an auto insurance claim, sooner or later - it's just a matter of time before you can request one.
In the majority of auto insurance claims, personal injury, never the problem. Despite the personal injury claims do not require much of the evidence, the damage to the vehicle you need more proof. While insurance regulations vary from state to state the basic steps required to make a claim is similar.
In the case of an accident, you make a claim and the adjuster arrives and makes an estimate of the cost or the cost of repair. You will receive a check from the insurance company that particular amount that can be used to pay reparations.
All insurance companies require proof of harm or proof of damage before they agree to pay. There are five pieces of evidence which is very essential when making a car insurance claim such as:
A police report
Accounts from eyewitnesses and physical damage at the scene
What do you say to your insurance
What do you say to the other insurers
Things to do immediately after the accident:
If there is a serious injury call 911, but if the injury is not serious for some call health care and call the police directly, you will need the police report.
Get all the contact information, insurance information, license plate numbers, etc. The insurance identification card shall contain all relevant information. Get the phone numbers of the opposing party.
Gathering evidence in the form of witnesses who are willing to say what they really saw.If you can not get this information soon have a police report should be used as a backup source.
Call the insurance company immediately.
If the other party is at fault, must pursue the claim through your company, but you can apply for reimbursement of other expenses that your insurance will not pay.
You may have to give their version of the accident to the insurer of the party.
The adjuster will come and make an estimate of costs (repair costs) after the vehicle inspection.
You can use arbitration if they feel that the estimate to cover the repairs is too low. If disputes are not resolved, then you might have to take legal action.
